Keeping product content in sync with the OmniGraph Content Graph

How to ensure your product descriptions and translations stay aligned across every market – automatically.

 

One of the biggest challenges in managing product content across multiple markets is keeping everything aligned. You start with a product description in one language - usually English - and then translate it into Spanish, Swedish, or other languages. But what happens when the original copy changes? Too often, the translations don’t follow suit, leaving customers in other markets with outdated, inconsistent product information.

That’s exactly the problem the OmniGraph Content Graph is built to solve.

When you view a product in OmniGraph, you’ll see a visual representation of its associated content – descriptions, translations, SEO listings, and more. Each of these elements appears as a recommendation card, with a border color indicating its status:

  • Grey = pending (a recommendation is waiting for action)

  • Green = applied (live in your Shopify store)

  • Blue = processing (OmniGraph is generating a new version based on recent changes)

In the example shown in the video, the original English description is up for a rewrite. Once you review the updated version – which includes improved structure, added features and benefits, and better SEO optimization – you can apply it with one click. That action immediately updates your Shopify store and signals to OmniGraph that something has changed.

From there, OmniGraph kicks off a regeneration process. It automatically re-translates the updated content into any previously translated languages. You’ll see the new translations appear in the graph as pending or processing recommendations. Once they’re ready, you can review and apply them just like the original copy.

The result? Your product content stays consistently aligned across all languages – without manual tracking or translation guesswork. You’ll never be left wondering if your Spanish or Swedish listings are missing key updates from your English version.
